Abhaina's Confluence
A long abandoned temple to the The Elemental Primordial Abhaina, whose domain was that of water. The temple was built into the canyon walls that encompassed the Klove River in the southern reaches of Requiem.
As the influence of the Primordials waned, the temple was all but lost to time; becoming little more than a passing curiousity for travelers sailing down the river.
It wasn't until the party agreed to aid the Roaring Peaks tabaxi claim delve into the depths of the temple to seek out a "relic" for a mysterious scholar did Abhaina's Confluence see its first visitors in over a century.
Later, it was revealed that a Foci situated within the heart of the temple was one of nine that anchored a great, magical chain that held fast the legendary Tarrasque; a beast of unrivaled destruction and chaos. It was this chain (or more aptly, its breaking), that the scholar sought, as he was part of The Reckoning, who wished to free the beast for their own purposes.
