Orcs reproduce sexually. It is possible for orcs to reproduce with humans, a pairing which results in a half-orc.

Orcs are typically considered to be adults anywhere from 11 to 14 years old, and reach middle age by around age 17. An orc who reaches 35 years of age is considered to be old.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Orcs have diets that include large portions of meat, and have to eat about a pound of food and a gallon of water every day.

The orcs live in warbands, which are lead by warchiefs. The larger Horde is based in Fang Keep, deep within the Fangs.

History
What might loosely be referred to as "orc society" has existed in some form or another since the time of the elves, dragonborn, and giants. While in the past, these civilizations were strong enough to resist orc attacks on their settlements in the Reaches, today the Orc Hordes have made significant gains.

An important orc legend is that of Gruumsh's defeat at Corellon's blade during the Dawn War.
