Utility
Airships are typically used to transport cargo quickly and easily by going over dangerous territory. They are also useful for extending the reach of city-states well beyond the territory they would be able to control with traditional ground-based transportation, as they can easily be outfitted to carry soldiers and weapons.
Manufacturing
Airships requires a strong yet durable frame that the power core, hull, and deck plates can be attached to. They are typically constructed while suspended in massive manufacturing roosts. Completed airships are moved to the skydocks, which they can leave from.

Access & Availability
Airships are widely used in the Republic of Argive, both by civilians and the military. They are much rarer among the Free Cities, as most of them don't have the manufacturing capabilities the Republic does.

Airships ride the air on the power of magic mixed with technology. They are typically powered by a core made of a magical material, such as precious gems or metals. Their wings are typically built from lightweight materials, such as wood; teak and darkwood are preferred. Military airships are typically armed and armored with light an durable materials.
