Grankor Rule

The Grankor Empire is ruled by the Solar Imperator, who is chosen by Helionar - The God of the Sun, who rules over all solar bodies, including the ones the Grankor Empire take their energy from. The Solar Imperator rules over the empire entirely, with the help of many advisors and trusted Generals. The next Solar Imperator, is always selected by the God Helionar 8 days after the previous Imperator left the throne. The most likely cause for a vacant throne is death, either old age or during battle. Rarely do you see an Imperator forfeiting the throne of absolute power of the empire.

The next in command is a General. Who is in direct command of all fleets, ships, soldiers, workers, etc... Basically they bow to no one except the Solar Imperator.

The order of command is:

Solar Imperator

General

Major

Captain

Sergeant

Lieutenant

Lieutenant Private

Private

These main rankings are then broken down further into sub-ranks. General is the highest rank you can get, and there is nothing above except for Solar Imperator. A new recruit starts at Private, and go up the ranks to 1st-Private, 2nd-Private, 3rd-Private. This logic carries on all the way to Captain, which goes up to rank-5, and therefore 5th-Major.
