Arcasia (Ar-KAY-zee-ah)

Arcasia (pronounced Ar-KAY-zee-ah) is a vast and storied world shaped by dramatic continents, ancient civilizations, and powerful natural forces. It spans frozen northern realms, fertile heartlands, blistering deserts, primeval jungles, and even a continent that rises from the sea once every three thousand years. Each region possesses its own deep history, distinct cultures, and unique ecosystems, yet all are connected through trade, conflict, migration, and the lingering influence of empires long vanished.

To the north lies Auborea, a land of ice, fjords, and aurora-lit skies where ancient ruins slumber beneath glaciers. The Eastern Continent stretches below it, formed by the temperate kingdoms of Faenas, the storm-lashed fjords of Dwellomel, and the sun-scorched deserts of Zareem, each region fostering its own traditions, rivalries, and histories. Across the sea, the Western Continent rises in sweeping wilderness: Westbroon, with its plains, swamps, forests, and redstone deserts; and Tilçanhu, one of the most biodiverse realms in the world, a sprawling jungle where ancient temples and sky-mountain cities stand amid roaring ecosystems. Far to the south lies the glittering Crystal Islands, while the mysterious Chelonia, The Sunken Continent, rests beneath the ocean — a drowned continent that briefly returns to the surface in a global spectacle of exploration, danger, and opportunity.

Off the western coast of Faenas sits Sukoku, the ancestral island of the Kurai Shogunate. Once a powerful mainland force, the Kurai were exiled generations ago and now rule their island homeland with strict discipline, artistry, and enduring pride.
