Torene
The only known sapient species created by Nyphell, the Torene are an incredibly long-lived species known for secluding themselves from other societies and going out of their way to not directly impact the course of history, instead considering themselves friendly "observers" of the world.

Anatomy
Torene are a species of bipedal primates with long, lean frames. In terms of appearance, they look like slightly taller humans with the same facial characteristics, albeit with golden skin nad vividly colourful eyes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Torene, like most humanoid mammals, reproduce sexually via pregnancy and live childbirth, however, they have astronomically low pregnancy rates when compared to most other species. Additionally, the gestation period of a Torene infant lasts nine to ten years.
Growth Rate & Stages
Torene are an incredibly slow-aging species, with their childhood lasting up to fifty years and often not reaching biological adulthood until 100 to 200 years of age.

An important part of their culture is tea, much of their lifestyle and cultural ceremonies heavily involve tea. The Torene are furthermore known for growing the most highly valued tea, partly due to their living in high mountainous environments.
