Akreyans

The Akreyans are creatures of the Goddess Kushana. They were meant to serve other species as teachers, helpers, and role models. Through their feminine and maternal nature, they were supposed to motivate all beings to live together in peace and harmony. Their noble appearance and mentality were meant to serve as examples to emulate and revere. They originally hail from the continent of Alvanor, where they once had a great empire. After its downfall, they scattered in all directions across Arcanis and also eventually came to Middland.
  The Akreyans are on average about 1.70 meters tall and have an exceptionally long lifespan of 400 years, as well as lasting youth. Their bodies are extremely resistant to injuries, diseases, and poisoning of any kind. They owe this to their blue blood, which gives them an extremely resilient immune system and a high capacity for regeneration. But their blood is not only beneficial to themselves, as an infusion can also serve as a remedy for other species. It is also their blood that keeps them young and can heal any injuries without leaving even a scar. The only sign of their aging is the fading of their hair and eye color at the old age of around 300 years. Until then, the Akreyans have shining colorful hair, snow-white skin, and sparkling eyes. The colors range from red to blue, green, and violet. Death does not come gradually for the Akreyans, but very abruptly. Their metabolism and cell division remain fully functional until shortly before the end of their lives. At a certain point though, they collapse due to a sudden autoimmunereaction, with death occurring within a few minutes. Typical signs of this are sudden weakness, coma, circulatory problems, respiratory arrest, and heart failure.
  The Akreyans are an all-female species that reproduce with other humanoid species. They must therefore maintain close contact with their neighbors and engage in lively exchange. This was meant ensure that the Akreyans have a long-term positive influence on other peoples society. Their reproductive behavior is not parasitic, but symbiotic. They always give birth to twins, one of whom is of their own species and the other of their father's species. Women of other races envy, if not hate, the Akreyans for their beauty. The Akreyans, on the other hand, regard all humanoids as their protégés and apprentices, whom they want to protect from negative worldy influences and other dangers.
