Durvin

Father of Harvests Durvin

Durvin is the god of Agriculture and Herds in much of the Valley of Edgemere. He has long been regarded as responsible for the good crops and healthy herds of the locals.   He is pictured as a slight Fey resembling a Brownie, but man sized. His symbol is a pair of cows horns topped with a brown pointed cap.   He is remembered at the full moons with minor festivities, except the one following harvest which is the major feast. He is offered the first fruits of harvest and a tithe of any cash sales. Farmers are happy to declare that they get to pay Durvin when this occurs. The good weather that Edgemere normally sees in late summer early autumn is called Durvin's Days by the locals.   He is also concerned with the healing and prospering of the domesticated animals. Clerics devoted to him will always have the power to deal with most animal complaints.
