Age of Giants and Dragons

This is the first great age of the world. It is marked by creation, expansion, and conflict.   Magic was performing its work of creation with the first beings Giants, and Dragons taking an active role in bending magic to create lesser species that would serve the first races.   This burst of creation lead to expansion of the created beings and their masters out over the face of the world. Soon the two groups came in contact.   Where contact occurred conflict erupted as the lesser creations fought for the resources of the contested lands. Starting as small skirmishes these escalated over time to the world encompassing conflict The War of Giants & Dragons which lasted for over 3,000 years and shaped much of the worlds surface.
