Roantirian Calendar

A year on Roantir takes 308 days to pass, evenly divided over 11 months. The calendar is based on the current visibility of the moons, the largest of the moons, Maior, takes 28 days to go through all phases, whilst the other moon, Parvus only takes 9 days to go through all of it’s phases. Each day is 26 hours in length and there are 9 days in a week.   These days are called: Novushod, Levishod, Priquahod, Pridimhod, Iuxtahod, Totumhod, Serahod, Seradimhod and Vertushod. The days that Parvus is either new or full are considered days off in most places, these days are Priquahod(new) and Serahod(full). Parvus has 3-4 full moons every month, whilst Maior only has one each month, once a year both moons are full at the same time.   This calendar was established even before the Age of Arcanum by elves and has survived to be used by most civilizations throughout the world. The current calendar started counting years at 0 PD, which means Post Divergence.
