Introduction

Welcome to the Arcadius campaign!

This is an introduction for everyone coming along on this adventure in my homebrew world. It's been talked about a lot already but this is to make it all official. Some characters have already been created, but if you need inspiration or want to refine some of your backstory do take a look at the world atlas for information. And if there's places in your background you'd like to have appear in the world atlas or encyclopedia let me know!  

What's the campaign going to be about?

This campaign is going to be played around the city-state called Arcadius. It's located between two large countries, the Vykkon Empire and the Dessar Republic. Tensions have been rising between Arcadius and the Vykkon Empire as the Empire remains strict in their anti-arcane policies. There have also been rumours of corruption brewing somewhere in the city and troubles in the cities outskirts.   There isn't really a set story, it's up to you, the players, to explore and do what you want to do. We'll also be spending time on character's backstories. The characters that have been created so far have a lot of backstory going on that will become important during the campaign.
