Meeting Mila

Discovering an Anhkeg and a giant scropion the party gets into a tangle and they are helped by a fellow second year Mila Jones. Once the fighting is over introductions were made. This was revealed that Mila had a humunculus named Gladois who explained that she should not be doing this as her parents warned her about how dangerous this is and that Mila's condition makes her weak. They took a short rest as a good amount of the party was hurt and low on resources. Finding nothing of worth in observation hut b the party went to the southern clearing where they discovered that there was piece of chipped chitin plating and Ethan found illegible scrawls in the dirt that match the writing in the journal the characters found in Sedgemoor last academic year. This made Ethan very worried as he thought they had dealt with that problem.

They then went to the Southeastern clearing where Ethan approached a moss covered plant that awoke and shouted that it was disturbed. After fighting the fungal moss in which Ethan was almost paralized a Spirit Statue Mascot was found. The mascot declared that it wasn't going back as it's tired of listening to Sharpbeak. Ethan tried to intimidate it into putting the band on which failed along with Mila trying to use mage hand to put the band on. Ethan then used entangle which allowed Mila to put the band on. It was her signing that it was for their own good that let the mascott keep the tag on. With four mascotts down there are just 2 more to go.
