Ashdare Delta

A long time ago, the floodplains and soil of this delta were extremely fertile, and many made their homes around it. However, once Eflaria grew in size, and with it the Ashdare River more polluted, the delta became a congested, smelly place where all the dirt and pollution built up. Settlers moved away, and it eventually came to the point where no one wanted to live anywhere near it anymore. The closest towns to it are Bacroyce and Eflaria. It is not a popular place for animals, but there is a certain species of plant that seems to thrive off the delta's soil. It is called Rizonae, and its leaves cause itchiness and irritation, making the Delta even less popular. Ever since the Rizonae plants were left to grow freely, the pollution levels didn't increase.They have been the same level since, which has led people to believe that the plant somehow helps clean the area. However, no one likes to go near the plant because of its effects, so the Ashdare Delta now lies within its own barriers of solitude.
