Quarib Hi'shar - The flask of the north
Scuffed and stained this flask smells faintly of old animal hide and wax. The straps are brittle, often needing replacement. There is no glow or enchantment visible, but the flask is impossibly cool to the touch, even when left for hours under the desert sun. And if one presses an ear to the leather and listens very, very closely, the gentle, rhythmic sound of slowly lapping water can sometimes be heard, even if the flask is empty.
The magic of these flasks lies not in summoning water - the flask holds no more than it should. But no matter how warm or stale the water poured into it is, every sip is remarkably cool and utterly refreshing. However, it will never hold anything else than water; be it wine, juice or broth, everything else will immediately spoil.
