Ma'lyr Kashar - The Guardian's Eye

These weapons are seen as mostly ceremonial, but even Kaharan children would recognize them everywhere. They are the traditional arms of the Sultan’s personal guard. Each of these glittering, deadly halberds is wielded by a fearsome, battle-hardened warrior tasked with keeping the palace and their ruler safe from harm.   Each staff is made of darkened, sturdy wood carved with the swirling patterns of the finest craftsmanship. Bronze studs and a wrap of crocodile leather ensure the wielders sure grip, while bronze ornaments glitter all across the staff. The bronze flows towards one end, flaring into a crescent, ornamental blade that is honed to a deadly, glittering razor’s edge. Emblazoned into the blade is a single eye, giving the weapon its moniker.

Over the centuries, the Ma'lyr Kashar has brought a swift end to many a foe that dared to challenge the rightful rule.
