Cirae

Also called the Hallowed, or Connithe.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

The Hallowed don't have a binary concept of gender or sex, and there are typically six different sexes an individual might fall under.

Civilization and Culture

Major Language Groups and Dialects

The language of the Cirae Civilization was Caolan. It has no linguistic descendents, and is considered to be the language closest to that of the gods. They referred to their continent as Maonh.

Common Dress Code

Lots of draping fabrics and long cloaks. Their four arms are decorated with jewelry/tattoos symmetrically.

Common Taboos

Because good and evil is so culturally dependent, when the Cirae meant to be sinless, it was based on their own interpretations of it. However, their main taboo was that you could not commit a malicious act with intent to harm, and many cultures have similar feelings about that.   It was also taboo to be overly-focused on the current planet, and to not show care towards all the other realms that exist, because there are living beings everywhere and all deserve curiosity and respect.   Also, if a person didn't read, out of disinterest and not illiteracy, they were thought to be falling away from good. Books were an easy way to gain knowledge, and an active avoidance of reading was looked down upon.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The Cirae did their best to stay out of any fights with the peoples near them, but it also meant that they kept mostly to themselves at first, with no alliances.
Conservation Status
This species was thought to be extinct because they disappeared before the civilizations had a chance to spread and intermingle. Many thought that this was because their civilization was very much into the idea of peace and calm and goodness, and were easily taken advantage of. However, they are not completely gone.
