The word of the broken hand
On the person of Magos Greg can be found a manuscript of great import to The Broken Hand Cult. For the manuscript contains the words of their faith and the decree of their worship. For the flesh change is upon all those that may read it and to them, it is good.
The change described comes in three steps, but comes down to the following. An individual of strength is exposed to the mutants that live below Steelgate and must be bitten until they pass out. If that comes to pass the individual may have been infected with the mutagen present in any mutant. This will lead to a disease that culminates in the occurrence of the flesh change. Rarely an individual resists the mind-shattering agony that the flesh change brings. Those individuals are referred to as saints of the broken hand. If a lesser mutation occurs instead, and the original form is retain, those become cultists of the broken hand instead.
