Mortis Bloom
A flower commonly used for burial rites across the Meplaes Union, mortis blooms can only be found in areas afflicted with ground rot. They seem to be the only plant capable of growing in such areas. The pollen, in sufficient quantities, can have minor hallucinogenic effects.
Basic Information
Anatomy
A mortis bloom has a grey stalk with up to three dark grey leaves. At the top of the stalk is a mat black flower akin to a rose.
Genetics and Reproduction
Mortis blooms cross polinate, its roots sprouting seeds for future generations.
Ecology and Habitats
This plant only grows around the Fortress City of Steelgate.
