Personal history

Born as a nobody in the Village of Ockport, Bazel had to make his own way in life. He quickly learned that when he talked, people would listen. The grander the tale, the larger the crowd in the tavern, until one day, he could earn his keep. The south did not fail to notice and before long Archmage Delivan invited Bazel to his tower. Here he was to be taught the bardic arts and the ways of chronicling the world. He would learn of many stories, every one greater than the last. History proved more eventful than the tales he spun in his mind. At the age of 18, he set of to see the world he'd read about. His teachers claimed he was not ready, but there was nothing left for him to learn here. He had to experience the world for himself.   Seven years later, word of the shattering of the south came to him. He knew this would be the tale. A story, if told, that would send his name spiraling through the annals. For this, he returned home...     The story was indeed great. The death of a legendary figure. The rise of firearms over magic. The loss of a hero. These were the tales Bazel preached to all those that would listen and many heard, for Bazel lived a long life.
