Reports to the authorities implicate four individuals: Bright, Bowsum, Absinthe, and Narin, all recent arrivals to the city from foreign lands. All are apprehended for questioning. Bowsum's body is later found by city watch in a back alley.

Disaster / DestructionThe earthquakes that have been plaguing Einhel City culminate in a massive shake as a cleft opens in the middle of the city, destroying a large chunk of it. At the same time, a thick fog fills the area, obscuring light sources and cutting off communications, and monsters begin to emerge from the darkness. The Order of Alabaster Knights, the Bracer Guild, and City Watch operatives unite their efforts to keep the civilians as protected as they can. Silveright Knight Finare requests the Chaos Crew investigate what is happening in the depths of the underground in the meanwhile.

Theft of the Grail Fragment
Criminal ActivityThe known criminal element, Baron Beublanc (also known as Phantom B) steals the fragment of the Holy Grail kept in secret by House Aurelius. Though the Chaos Crew are at first implicated in the affair, they manage to convince Lady Valerie of their innocence and proceeded to assist the Duchess and her guards in warding off a devil attack on the manor. Phantom B managed to escape with the artifact, however the Chaos Crew managed to wound him and get their hands on his artificial self-replica.
