Tolliver

The Craftsman, The Smith (a.k.a. Ida, Enemgorm, Fabrizio, Techni, Sten)

Tolliver is the patron deity of craftsmen, architects, and masons. Though he is often credited with aiding all craftsmen, he is said to prefer blacksmiths, stoneworkers, and masons. He is also the god of creativity, labor, and tools. Tolliver's teachings espouse the value of a hard day's work and extol the value of things made with your own hands. Tolliver's followers tend to be practical, pragmatic, and straightforward. Tolliver is worshipped in many trade guilds and has, in recent years, developed somewhat of an association with guilds and wealth within the Imperial Pantheon.

In the Central Pantheon -Ida

Ida is the goddess of craftsmen (especially carpenters and wood-workers), tools, and labor. She is also the patron of unskilled laborers. She is greatly valued in the Central Pantheon with its more rustic origins, but is otherwise largely the same as his Imperial counterpart.

In the Western Pantheon - Enemgorm

Enemgorm is the ancestor-god of art and craftsmanship. He is especially fond of sculptors and masons. Those who worship Enemgorm seek to achieve glory through works of their hands rather than by valiant deeds or victories on the battlefield, making him very popular among some of the Beò.

In the Southern Pantheon - Fabrizio

Fabrizio is the god of craftsmanship, tools, engineering, and construction. Whenever a new building is to be constructed, an offering and prayers are offered to Fabrizio, with larger buildings requiring larger offerings. Those who worship Fabrizio above other Southern Deities are known to ply their crafts for the glory of their god from time to time. They create tools, art, and the like for the explicit purpose of donating to his temples or offering them in ritualistic sacrifices. This is typically done twice a year, but different craftsmen may do it more or less frequently depending on the speed at which they can work. Rushing such an offering or embarking on its creation with anything less than your best craftsmanship is considered sacrilegious. Such works are never to be used by anyone other than his clergy and only if specifically donated to them. To use such things is considered a grave affront to their god.

In the Eastern Pantheon - Techni

Techni is the goddes of craftsmen, artisans, and manufacturing. She is the process of mortal creation in all its pragmatic forms: masonry, smithing, carpentry, and many more. She embodies the value of labor and things wrought with mortal hands as well as the desire to manufacture wealth and to shape and improve the world around you. Ingenuity, craftsmanship, and productivity are believed to originate from Techni. In a more esoteric sense, Techni teaches her followers to create their own wealth and to never settle for what is given to them when they can improve it. Of all the things Techni oversees, she is most associated with ship building and many ships of the Éthnonite Akki navy are named after her in some way or bear some emblem of her. Techni is one half of the dual deity Zoi, the deity of wealth, war, and worldly objects.

In the Northern Pantheon - Sten

Sten is held in high esteem by the followers of the Northern Pantheon who also believe him to have lived as a mortal in the distant past. He is believed to be the one who crafts the arms and armor used by the other deities, especially Oleg. Some tales claim he was always Oleg's craftsman, others say he was elevated to his position because the gods could not bear to see such talent vanish forever. Northern tales say that Sten summons the greatest craftsmen of Ara to his side upon their death to serve as assistants in his immortal forge. Sten is also the deity of Mountains and metals (specifically worked metals, rather than ores still in the ground).   Many Ogres worship Sten, and make up a large portion of his followers, though smiths and stoneworkers from all races can be found amongst both his clergy and his laity.
