Aston
The City, The Smiling Trader, Our Father (Humans Only) (a.k.a. Arrigo, Aidan, Lucretius, Polyxena)
Aston is the god of cities and communities. Though he is also viewed as the father of humanity, he is not particular of his followers. Aston can be found wherever there is a city and a community, regardless of race. He has many shrines and temples within the southern continents of Terre de Collines and Arani as well as many port cities. Aston teaches his followers that cities and communities are a place which should nurture, protect, and provide happiness for their inhabitants, never degrade them or cause them suffering. As such, his clergy seek to improve impoverished areas and to keep both the city itself and its people in good condition. Aston also teaches his followers to be accepting of all who are part of the community and to never turn away one who wishes to be a part of it. As the patron of Humans, he encourages Humans to be open-minded and to spread throughout the world, melding into other cultures or accepting others into their own.
Aston is one of the most worshiped deities of the Aran Pantheon. Most Humans offer him at least a token amount of prayer. Those who dwell in cities, especially those in positions of higher authority are likely to take the teachings of Aston more seriously (or, at least, put up the appearance that they do). Even the downtrodden often pay homage to Aston in hopes he will improve their lot in life.
Arrigo is also the god of communities and solidarity within them. He is said to be found where neighbors and fellow citizens come together and bolster one another.
In the Central Pantheon - Arrigo
Arrigo is the primary god of the Central Pantheon and Aston's alias within it. Arrigo is a deity of hearth and home. He is also the protector god of humanity and, in some myths, its progenitor. Most practitioners of the Central Pantheon have an idol of Arrigo in their home, from elaborate golden or ivory effigies to humble hand-carved wooden idols. He is also beseeched by those who are lost to guide them back home.Arrigo is also the god of communities and solidarity within them. He is said to be found where neighbors and fellow citizens come together and bolster one another.
In the Western Pantheon - Aidan
In the Western Pantheon, Aiden serves much the same role as he does in the Imperial and Central Pantheon. He is believed to have been the ancestor which gave fire to the Beò forbears. Like the Central Pantheon's Arrigo, he is often prayed to to guide the lost home. Aidan is also a god of healing in the Western Pantheon, particularly to those who have not earned the right to leave the reincarnation cycle yet.In the Southern Pantheon - Lucretius
In the Southern Pantheon, Lucretius is a deity of progress. This encompasses direct technological progress and mechanical invention as well as roads, land travel, and land trade, both of people, goods, and ideas. He is often viewed as a neutral deity, but some traditions place him in a more malevolent role of a barbarian eroding and degrading traditional culture. In the Eastern Pantheon - Polyxena
Polyxena is the goddes of art, culture, and mortal experiences. She is the embodiment of all creative endeavors undertaken for the sake of beauty, satisfaction, and to evoke emotions. She is the sweet harp, the beautiful statue, the imposing edifice, and the subtle poetry. She embodies community in a different way than most of her other counterparts. Rather than focusing on the physical gathering of people and their shared history and ethnicities, she is the embodiment of the shared mortal experience across the world. She is the feelings, struggles, joys, and yearnings of all mortals and the relationship of those things with art itself. In her role as one half of the dual deity Aglaia, the deity of aesthetics and beauty, she is focused on the more cerebral and emotional aesthetics that appeal to mortals' higher mental faculties and more complex emotional responses. She favors a deep, multifaceted beauty wrought by the hands of mortals. In the Northern Pantheon

Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
In the Imperial Pantheon
Aston appears as a jovial Human merchant. His clothes are simple and often dirty, but his face is always clean and handsome. He carries many bags and satchels, sometimes pulling a cart as well. He has necklaces of coins hanging about his body. His voice is clear and sure, but otherwise indistinguishable from any Human. In the Central Pantheon
Arrigo is the only member of the Central Pantheon not depicted as being partially bestial. Arrigo is fully human and he dresses in rustic garb of leathers and furs. He is often seen carrying large pots or other cookware, utensils, and sometimes a large torch. Like his Imperial persona, he is always depicted as vibrant and handsome. In the Western Pantheon
In the Western Pantheon, Aidan is a lithe Orc who holds the fire which he stole in his hands. He typically wears leather or fur sashes or loincloths, but is sometimes depicted in rough-spun simple pants. In the Southern Pantheon
Lucretius is depicted in the southern pantheon in much the same way he is in the Imperial Pantheon, but is occasionally shown in more "barbaric" garb by those traditions which view him as a negative force. In the Eastern Pantheon
Polyxena is a beautiful Akki woman. Everything about her moves as flowing water or music. She wears a long lavendar robe, her hair is shoulder length and partially loose, with the rest tied in buns. She has slender, short horns. She is almost always depicted with an instrument of some sort, a harp being the most common. Other renditions of her have her carying painter's or scultor's tools. Her eyes are like pure diamonds. In the Northern Pantheon
