Eldrin the Farseer
Farseer Eldrin Ambersong (a.k.a. El)
In a recurring dream as a child, and throughout his whole life, he constantly saw a symbol etched into a metal disc, with components embedded in precise locations.
His dreams told him to create these discs and place them wherever large populations live. So he convinced his parents to apprentice him to a silversmith so he could learn the skill he needed to create them.
When he became a journeyman, whatever wages he earned, he used for this quest. In his travels, he placed discs whatever town he stopped. He had to find hidden locations that hopefully would stay open in the future.
One day, he was given a vision about a location to go that had some things he would need in his future endeavors. One was a device that showed him where to place his discs for future town locations, and money to help him on his way. It turned out that they were GPS markers to tell the Heralds from the Spire where to send warnings of the Heart of Xylos's return.

When he is deeply focused-either while meticulously etching a new disc or when he is quietly contempalting his nex destination-a low, barely perceptible harmonic hum seems to emanante from his body. It is a resonance that is felt more than it is heard, and those close to him might notice a faint, soothing vibration in the air or in objects he touches. This hum is an echo of the mysterious sound that filled the room on the day he was born and is a constant, subconscious manifestation of the deep connection between his soul and the magitech he works with.
Additionally, a small, perfectly round, silver-hued birthmark is located on his chest, directly over his heart. Its surface is completely smooth, but it feels unnaturally cold to the touch and perfectly matches the size of the mysterious disc that was found in his swaddling cloth, as if it were a permanent, physical shadow left by the disc itself.

As the hum filled the room, the other elves present began to feel a strange, otherworldly energy. Those with an affinity for magic felt their own powers briefly flicker and intensify, while others found their senses heightened to an impossible degree. The family's hearth fire, which had been burning low, flared up with a sudden burst of brilliant, silent green light, casting a strange, ethereal glow on the walls.
The most unnerving aspect, however, was the disc.. A small, unadorned silver disc, no bigger than a coin, was found nestled in the folds of his swaddling. It was flawlessly crafted, impossibly smooth, and emanated the same faint hum as the newborn. No one knew where it came; it had simply appeared.
The humming subsided after a few minutes, the ethereal light faded, and Eldrin finally let out a soft, healthy wail. His parents, relieved but deeply shaken, took the disc from his swaddling, but to their surprise, it was already imprinted with a complex, swirling symbol--the very one that would later haunt Eldrin's dreams. The disc became his birthright, a mystery.
