Water Genasi

The first Water Genasi were born from elemental rifts. Like all life, they were born from the water, but chose to stay, building their civilizations wherever they can find space in the open sea. Depending on where they come from, they can smell of fresh rain, clean water, a light fog, or the ocean. Their skin tones are shades of blue and bluish green. Depending on how in-tune they are with their element, they may have beads of water on their skin, or their hair may float as if submerged. Their voices may resemble flowing water or the animals that live in the sea.   Water Genasi tend to be medium to heavy in weight. They move through the water as easily as they move on land, and can breathe both air and water.   Because of their innate comfort with water, Water Genasi are gifted sailors and are sometimes considered good luck charms aboard vessels.   They enjoy peace and quiet. They are free spirits.   They have a natural wisdom to them. Their pure blood makes them resistant to acid. They can shape water and manipulate it how they. Once they grow older and more experienced, they can make water out of thin air, or destroy it should they see fit. In a world where fresh water is borderline a luxury, they can be invaluable friends to have.
