Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Half-Orcs have better strength and constitution than their human parents (+2, +1 respectively). They can be as short as 5 feet tall or well over 6 feet tall. They are more muscular and bulkier than humans. Their orc ancestry grants them dark vision. They have a knack for menacing, and are naturally skilled at intimidation. Their endurance can snatch them from the jaws of death, allowing them to cling to life to fight another day. When a hit from a half-orc lands, it lands.
Civilization and Culture
Beauty Ideals
Beauty ideals for half-orcs shift greatly depending on the society they belong to, but generally, their standards fall somewhere between those of orcs and the dominant culture. In generally, half-orcs find signs of strength, labor, and courage attractive; scars, muscles, and even stretch marks from muscle growth or producing offspring are signs of these traits, and so are seen as highly attractive.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Half-orcs do not have a language to call their own, but instead, they can read, write, and speak in Common and Orc.
Common Etiquette Rules
Half-orcs typically operate somewhere between human and orc, although dominant culture of wherever they live also plays a part.
History
The origins of half-orcs depends greatly on who is telling the story. A human might tell you that the first half-orcs were born on Tolkyn when the first brave human sailors left The Great Rock and formed unions with the natives. An orc might tell you the opposite, that the first half-orcs were born on The Great Rock when the first brave orc sailors left Tolkyn and formed unions with the natives. Either way, the offspring of these unions proved strong and hardy, and so, there are many in the modern day.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Half-orcs are generally open to relationships with other sapient species.
