Artificer Island

Artificer Island is a curious case indeed, as unlike nearly every other island in the world, it has three parts: the mainland, which rises from the sea; the underbelly, which rests beneath the waves; and the satellite, which floats above the land. In order to deal with the strange arrangement, those who live here had to learn how to build and create to make their lives easier. In this pursuit of finding a better way, the people here made great strides in the advancement of technology. They learned how to smelt the ores found in their caves and built fantastical things. Now, those who wish to learn to build and create make a pilgrimage to Artificer Island, and many end up calling it their permanent home. This is the birthplace for all robots, including the Warforged, and it is where those who can make the trip to receive cybernetic upgrades. These upgrades are usually only given to treat disabilities or cure the mortally wounded.
