Hoia Baciu Forest is mostly forested with some small rivers and streams flowing through them.
Localized Phenomena
Hoia Baciu Forest is filled with many unexplained phenomena that scientist have attempted to disprove multiple times. Some of the catalogued phenomena includes magnetic anomalies, unexplained growth pattern, unexplained lack of growth, light anomalies, electronic devices not working, people sudden disappearing, and unexplained physical marks .
History
The Gangrel's consider the Hoia Baciu Forest to be the origins of their clan. Tales say that when Cain cast out Ennoia after the betrayal that Hoia Baciu Forest was part of her domain. During her steed she converted the denizens of the surrounding area into her Childer. These Childer then spread across the rest of Europe creating their own Childer. They shared Ennoia's feral instincts and primal ferocity. Since then the Gangrel have claimed the Hoia Baciu forest as their origins, even though most are tentative on their commitment to it.
Recently there have been many scientific inquiries into the forest and their local phenomena. This has ranged from small time individuals to large scale scientific organizations with private and government funding. There findings have been inconclusive at best. There are some experiments that yielded nothing, while others have made discoveries that they say would fundamentally change the laws of physics. The main issue is that none of the test are repeatable.
