History
The Cantador's origins starts in early Spain when Arturo Cantador was turned into a Kindred by his former Sire Patia Gaurige while participating in the Inquisition.
When Arturo outgrew the court system in Spain he took himself, and his current Childer, to the United States of America to the city of Los Angeles in 1849. While there Arturo took the time to establish himself in the court early to get himself in a minor seat of power. In the upcoming years through political manipulation, murder, and other nefarious deeds Arturo forced himself into a more powerful position in the court.
Arturo's most successful bid for power was when there was a potential uprising of the Ventrue in Los Angeles. In early Feburary 2024 he led an assault on a Ventrue nest after gathering evidence that the Ventrue were planning to assassinate the current Prince. During the assault his Childer and him claimed the lives of all the Ventrue in the nest. When he returned he was showered with accolades and praise. Which was coincidental given the fact that the Prince was killed days later by a Werewolf assault.
Territories
The Cantador's have a majority of control over Los Angeles and the surrounding suburbs. They also have influence in New York City as well as Detroit.
