Babylon

"Babylon was once the cultural center of the Middle East. The streets were full of culture and knowledge. It was the hub of civilization, till its fall. It is now a shell of its former self. This is to the mortals, to us its still a thriving part of our history where we conduct our most sacred rites. Listen to the silence for it'll reveal answers to questions you never asked."

~ Unknown Tremere

History

Babylon rose to prominence under the leadership of King Hammurabi. During that time the city was a powerful social, economical, and military power. During Hammurabi's reign his concubine Dinah used her supernatural influence as a Temere to manipulate the politics of the court. Her opponents fell from power or were killed and her allies rose to prominence. When she bleed the power of the court dry she departed leaving Hammurabi hollow and unwilling to continue life without her. With his death Babylon started to lose the influence it so diligently worked towards.
