race features:
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Long-Limbed
When you make a melee attack on your turn, your reach for it is 5 feet greater than normal.   Powerful Build
You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.   Sneaky
You are proficient in the Stealth skill. In addition, without squeezing, you can move through and stop in a space large enough for a Small creature.   Unlucky Bastard
The world has dealt you a hand worse than everyone elses, to the point it becomes sad to watch. You may choose to miserably fail a action you take, which makes all around you sympathetic to your cosmic suffering. In combat, this will place you under the effects of the sanctuary spell ( Wisdom save DC 20). You may use this property of the feature once per short rest.
Out of combat, it depends on circumstance. Work with your DM to allow you to roleplay the cosmic short stick of the Goblinoid races!
When Maglubiyet created the Bugbears, he intended them to be his true champions of sneakiness and hard hitting potential. Unfortunately, he made their luck and moods coincide with his. After he was killed by the Secretary, the Bugbears among all Goblinoids were hit the hardest, now crippled by a collective species-wide depression and cosmically bad luck. In a rare case of fortune for them, this cosmically sad circumstance makes them able to avoid a lot of trouble, and has even allowed a large population of them to live in Dwarven mountain homes.
