Eldrisian Ghost Mask
Eldrisian Sciomancer
Arising out of Eldris, and the Valley of Eternal Midnight, the Sciomancer is a shadow mage. Shadows and shadow magik, in this context, do not equate to dark morality or evil, but to secrecy and obfuscation. This arcane school is an offshoot of high magik, with a full catalogue of magik operations, but often channelled through the medium of shadows. Its spells include shadow-to-shadow conjury, shadow gates, assumption of shadow form, creating and/or commanding shadow beings, shadow-vision, and ways of delving for deep secrets that hide in shadow. Sciomancers are uncommon, and there have never been many of them. Standout members include Lharog Tallesien and Raeth of Burlam, called the Walker in Shadows.
Eofwin Swanmay
This is an order of female shapeshifters. They guard the primal forests of Eofwin and into the Baelric, and they often do so in swan form. This profession has deep pagan roots. Swans are legally protected with stiff penalties in the modern world, as all swans are considered to be crown property. In human form, the swanmays retain their ability to communicate with natural swans, or with other swanmays, in swan peak. When a swanmay assumes avian form, none of her equipment changes along with her, and she is unclothed when she returns to her human form. This means the swanmay must be very crafty where she stores her gear.
Gwyfned Occult Archivist
Originating in the libraries of the University of Gwyfned, these scholars have a passion for gathering and indexing magik lore and texts. This gives them access to the widest assortment of magik, spells, and operations of any mage, and unparalleled access to even the most obtuse occult and arcane lore. This is an adventuring class, because locating lost lore and magik takes them all over the Known World. Ultimately, the occult archivist strives to collect all that knowledge for the University Library. Their training makes them very adept at translating old languages and deciphering codes. To date, all these archivists have been men.

Hemptonian Crossbowmen
These arbalesters are the cream of crossbowmen. They ride to battle, but fight on foot. Not as concerned with mobility, they wear good medium or heavy armor and carry backup weapons, such as daggers, arming swords, war hammers, and maces. Each crossbowman employs two assistant crossbowmen, one to hold and maneuver their mantlet shield, and one to reload. These crossbowmen each carry a matched set of bows, and by switching them out with their reloading assistant, they double the number of shots they make. The assistants are crossbowmen in training, and they are more lightly armed and armored. These soldiers have built a culture around the crossbow, and all of them learn all the crafts of building these weapons, the accompanying equipment, and the quarrels/bolts they fire. Even their songs celebrate crossbows. Hempton sometimes hires them out as mercenaries.
