Gwyfned Settlements Overview

Chaussane Town—This town is found on the north shores of Koerr Taern at the base of the Aendril Mountain’s foothills. This places it in Ellence Barony, Trimon Viscounty, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the North Forest Royal District.

Collinswort Village—This remote mountain village is found in Erveban Barony, East Eldton County, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned. It sits near the Brack River’s headwaters.

Colstantan Town—This town is found in Gnebdon Vale, on Lerriere Mountain’s west face where it meets Doell River’s east bank, locating it in Allbaugh Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal District.

Cynulf Town—This town is located in Nyssul Dale, between Nyssul Mountain in the west and Lerriere Mountain to the west, placing it in Allbaugh Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal District.

Farer’s Point Town—This town is situated in Marle Vale, on Qubic Mountain’s west face, across from Vessick Mountain’s east face, overlooking ruined Civis Noir in the valley below. This places it in Marl Vale Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned.

Gwyfned City—This major city is built in Gwyfned Vale, midway along the Brighton Pass (later Brighton Street, after the Karmithians modernized it), which is the only major pass through the mountains connecting East and West Aorlis. The city is built on a cirque around Ringe Taern. The city is circled by Chloedhyme Mountain on the north, Dayrath Mountain on the northeast, Lissoine Mountain to the east, Ouverierre Mountain to the southeast, Parelle Mountain to the southwest, Thrandor Mountain to the west, and Skaeldorr Mountain to the northwest. This places it in Gwyfned Vale Barony, Gwfned Vale County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. As independent fortifications go, Gwyfned includes Castle Whitefeather, Hollywell House, and the Emerald Tower. The Morlite Canons are based in the Gwyfned Basilica. St. Gillium’s Humilitine Abbey and St. Wollyn’s Ordinate Abbey are attached to the city.

Gwyford Town—This town is found in Gwyff Vale, on Nertonne Mountain’s south face at the point where it meets the Gwyf River’s north shore. This places it in Killrun Barony, Gwfned Vale County, in Gwyfned Kingdom.

Minton Town—This town is found in Los Farn Vale, on the southwest face of Skaeldorr Mountain, at the confluence of the Minton River as it drains into Lyarth River, on the Brighton Street’s west leg. There stands an old Karmithian bridge that spans the Minton River. This places it in Belltide Barony, Gwyfned Vale County, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned.

Mont St. Louise Town—While not part of Gwyfned, per se, this town is the sole settlement of Vantrionne, a microstate surrounded on all sides by East Eldton, Gwyfned. This mountain town, found in Binn Dale and on the northwest shores of Grave Taern, connects to its access road by a wooden bridge across the Binn river.

Mortonfell Town—This backwater town is located in on the lower, southeast face of Quenn Mountains, and it is built atop a z-shaped ridge. This places it in Blumbourne Barony, Mortfell County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal Forest District.

Orham Town—This town is found below the eastern foothills of the Aelrid Mountains, situated on Brighton Street. This places it in Bittergate Barony, Gwyfned Vale County, in Gwyfned Kingdom.

Raldt Town—This town is situated in Thurston Vale on Balmonte Mountain’s west face, on the Tharston River’s north banks. This places it in Mons Holbien Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned. There is a wooden bridge here across the Tharston River to Astrith Castle.

Rheonmont Town—This town is found in Binn Dale on the south face of Esmaur Mountain, where it meets the east bank of Mawr Taern. This places it in Bann Edder Barony, East Eldton County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal Forest District.

St. Amorella’s Town—This remote town is located in on the northeast shore of Gerth Taern, below the Aendril Mountain’s east foothills, otherwise surrounded by the Gerth Forest. This places it in Odell Barony, Trimon Viscounty, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the North Forest Royal District.

St. Bellaflor’s Town—This remote town is found on a long plain that begins between High Rennet Mountain to the southwest, and Rennet Mountain to the northeast. This places it in Ellence Barony, Trimon Viscounty, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the North Forest Royal District.

St. Blailock’s Town—This town is found in Mummer Vale on the west face of Quenn Mountain, where it meets the Mummer River’s east bank. This places it in Excombe Barony, Mortfell County, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal District.

St. Hughe’s Town—This town is found in Exton Dale where Borridge Mountain’s west face meets Exton Taern’s east shore, locating it in Exton Vale Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal District.

St. Rhemaelle Town—This town is located in Binn Dale on the south face of Lindnor Mountain above Glyph Taern, where it meets the Koerr Taern’s north bank, placing it in Binridge Valley Barony, Mortfell County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal District. There is a wooden bridge here that crosses the Little Glyph River to a bastion.

St. Tyrell’s Town—This town is found in Horn Dale, in the valley between Wollysful Mountain to the east, and the Osgorl Mountain to the West, on Horn Lake’s north shore. This places it in Eddlemont Barony, East Eldton County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the Kingswood Royal District.

Tharston Town—This town is found on a plateau above the rocky valley between Twyn Mountain to the east and Thurs Mountain to the west, locating it in Urgholt Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned.

Thence-On-The-Bay Town—This town is found on the north bank of Thay Lake, abutted by the Gerth Forest to the northeast, and the Nest Moors to the northwest. This places it in Thence Barony, Trimon Viscounty, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the North Forest Royal District.

Upper Tharston Town—This town is found in Thurston Vale, on Upstan Mountain’s east face, on the Tharston River’s north bank, surrounded by a plain to the east, locating it in Urgholt Barony, Urgholt Royal Duchy, in Gwyfned Kingdom.

Widden Town—This Gwyfned Vale town is found on a ridge between Olle Taern to the west and Enulf Taern to the east, in the valley between Oe Mountain to the west, and Greffnor Mountain tot he east. This places it in Widden Barony, Khellidor County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the North Forest Royal District. It incorporates Ao Castle, a royal keep.

Windlow Town—This remote town is situated at the eastern foot of Olfette Mountain, and on Windlow Lake’s south shore, and otherwise surrounded by Trimon Forest. This places it in Hartscourt Barony, Trimon Viscounty, in the Kingdom of Gwyfned.

Wollynbur Town—This high plains town is found on Gill Vale’s east end, on the Lower Gill River’s east bank at Wyndorm Mountain’s southwest flank. This places it in Ard Barony, Cloudbridge County, in Gwyfned Kingdom. It lies within the jurisdiction of the North Forest Royal District. It possesses a wooden bridge across the Lower Gill River’s white waters.
