During a time of scientific discovery and magical knowledge expansion, there lived a family that precedented all of these fields. The Cilkas drove forward the expeditions and discoveries of science and magic thanks to their insatiable thirst for knowledge. But this soon led them to disturb an ancient force. They began experimenting with essences, the souls of creatures. This infuriated the ghosts of Morana, who visited the Cilkas on Elentiya and cursed them by making them elves. With this, the elven race was born on Aonaran.
