The Sharulan Pirates and the Elentiyan Navy

Military: Skirmish

A group of shark shifter pirates led by a man named Oulixeus was causing a lot of ruckus on the trading routes of the Living Ocean. They had a specific tactic of leaving crews oblivious to their presence as sharks and attacking after a while as humans. Soon, the Elentiyan Navy was alerted to the pirates and devised a plan to stop them in their tracks. They sent out their largest ship as a bait vessel to capture the pirates' interest. It worked and the pirates thought they would bring home the largest haul they ever had in their life. They swam to the vessel as sharks and attacked as usual as humans, only to be outwitted by the navy. They were arrested after a short skirmish on the deck of the ship and sentenced to death by drowning. However, Oulixeus was not going to give up so easily. After being the first to be thrown overboard, Oulixeus attempted to transform into his shark form to save himself from drowning. However, his transformation halted halfway due to insufficient magic, leaving him a hybrid. He imbraced it very quickly since it was better than being dead. When his crew started falling into the waters, he showed them what he had done and they all followed suit. And thus the himorphas were born.
