Fairy Hunts and the Creation of the Banshees

After a couple of centuries with fairies around, humans on Elentiya begin hunting them to gain the nature-controlling magic that the fairies possess. In order to kill a fairy, they devise a strategy by removing their Nature Nexus, the core of their magical powers and life force that ties them to the Tree of Life. However, the method to remove the Nature Nexus corrupts the empty vessel left behind, leading to the birth of the banshees.
