Glacier Wyvern Aliane

Aliane is a generally healthy dragon with two wings and two legs. She lost her two front limbs during her transformation, so she only has black stumps left, where they used to be. Her overall colour is a dark shade of ice blue, while her belly and throat are a light ice blue.

Aliane is easily recognised by her scales' colour. No other dragon is the dark shade of ice blue that she is. The stumps near her shoulders, where her front limbs used to be, make her recognisable as well.

Aliane was born during the months of frost in a nest on the most western Sunneva Volcano. She was a curious thing, always exploring and wanting to know more about the world around her. As soon as she could fly, she would fly all over the Lava Fangs, trying to find something new. When she was older and had settled down with another Sun Dragon, she always longed to be out and about, finding out what lay beyond the Lava Fangs and the Sunneva Volcanoes. While carrying her first clutch of eggs, Aliane looked out over to the horizon and spotted a blizzard happening in the distance. Her curiosity got the better of her and she flew off to check it out. Not knowing what a snowstorm was, she flew straight into it, only to be quickly forced to the ground by the wind and snow whipping her about. When she landed, she came down onto the top of the Black Ice Glacier. At first, it seemed a safe place to rest and wait out the storm. But a few moments later, the ancient ice magic contained within the glacier saw its chance to escape into the body of Aliane. The ice lit up underneath her feet and the freezing magic was released. Within the first seconds, it froze Aliane's front limbs clean off, before she could realise what was going on. Crying out in pain and feeling the same starting to happen to her hind legs, Aliane activated her Sun Magic in a desperate attempt to save herself and her eggs. It radiated throughout her body, keeping the Ice Magic at bay for a short time. But then, something happened, that would change Aliane's life forever. The Ice Magic combined with her Sun Magic and began changing her entire physique. It began transforming her, changing the colour of her scales and wings and the very fabric of her magic. While it was happening, Aliane screamed in pain, letting out a fiery breath. This breath quickly changed from being as scorching as the sun to freezing cold like ice. Finally, her transformation was complete and there was the newly transformed Glacier Wyvern. Ever since then, Aliane has been bound to the Black Ice Glacier, protecting the world from its dangerous magic and keeping it at bay. Shortly after her transformation, she laid her eggs in a nest made of ice. The eggs had been affected by the magic of the Black Ice Glacier as well. They were ice blue in colour and needed it to be cold instead of warm. From them hatched the first-ever Ice Dragons.

Aliane is the mother of the first Ice Dragons, which makes her the living ancestor to all Ice Dragons, Snow Wyverns and Snowflake Dragonets.
