"Great is the Light and great are all things within the Light."Tiraphel was sent to the Abbey of Fallen Stars many years ago to prevent Lord Falsword from embarking on his foolish path towards his own destruction, such a great follower of Oun was Flasword once upon a time. Instead of heeding the angel's advice, Falsword succeeded in imprisoning the majestic being in a magical dome. Tiraphel remained imprisoned until a group of heroes rescued him and ended Falsword's corruption once and for all. He repaid the heroes by answering their questions, restoring life to one of their fallen ( Mortymer ), and then returned to the glory of Oun.

Tiraphel appears to be in perfect physical health with no marks of injury or defect upon his body. His eyes are a warm orange, like the morning sun.
