The Age of Worms / The Zenith Trajectory pt. 10/ Fos the 22nd, 3593 CE / 8-22-21

Deep in the Everlasting Night, Not By Choice have entered the shrine of a dark god worshipped by the ulat-kini. They are searching for a missing dwarven Adventurer named Zenith Splintershield. Having alerted the priests and guards watching over the tribe's profane idol, a fierce battle breaks out, with Uriah lobbing bombs on the lightning striking priests even as guards rain crossbow bolts down on him. As guards and priests begin to fall, it looks as the though the tide of battle may be turning in Not By Choice's favor. And yet there is something about the still glowing eyes of the idol which makes the party nervous that a threat they have not yet perceived may be close at hand.
