Strange Aeons / The Rushton Terror pt. 33 / Eire the 12th, 3592 CE / 6-29-21

In the sub-level below Orchid Hill, familial estate of Baron Haver Lowell IV, the surviving heroes of Stonebriar Asylum and their new allies, Gleorn, Trakir, and Sigvald, battle an otherworldly creature, a denizen of the Plains of Leng in the Dreamlands, and an undead abomination which seems to draw power from the cursed Yellow Sign of Hastur. A new front is opened in the battle as more cannibal guards are discovered in a storage room, but ultimately all foes are vanquished. The party, feeling the effects of multiple battles since they began their assault on Orchid Hill, seeking to discover the fate of the missing citizens of Rushton, question whether they can continue the siege, even as they hear the scurry of rats moving about from a cistern to the east.
