Strange Aeons / The Rushton Terror pt. 30 / Eire the 12th, 3592 CE / 6-1-21

As the party continues to explore Orchid Hill, they find Baron Lowell's study, containing more documents pertaining to his quest to find a lost city at the behest of someone called the "Mad Poet." They also find an exploding desk, which almost badly injures several party members. Further down the hall is a room containing the remains of the human hosts which spawned the two undead monsters the party fought and defeated. Before they can proceed to the final room of the second story, a sitting room containing an eldritch abomination which Sigvald previously witnessed, the party is swarmed with rats from the walls, which they must beat back.
