Strange Aeons / Dreams of the Yellow King pt. 8 / Eire the 24th, 3592 CE / 6-30-22

In the Dreamlands, the party have discovered a forsaken caravanserai, where they now find themselves in a pitched battle with a monstrous ooze monster which had been occupying the empty baths. With one terrible thrust of its great jaws, the formless spawn grasps Hemlock in its mouth and swallows him whole! Meanwhile, the party has been joined by a newcomer, a half-orc who appears to have found his own way into the Dreamlands. He aids the party and together they are able to destroy the monster even as Hemlock frees himself from its gullet. Finding nothing else of interest in the baths, the newcomer Zolkri attempts to anoint the party with magical soap, but even as Esp attempts to be diplomatic, Trakir, untrusting of goblin-kind, is having nothing of it. Zolkri also foregoes social niceties, plunging ahead in his own investigation of the caravanserai, finding the old bookkeeper's office, the ledgers contained within made unreadable because of the strange nature of the Dreamlands. Ahead lies a staircase, perhaps leading to more clues.
