Strange Aeons / Dreams of the Yellow King pt. 2 / Eire the 16th through the 17th, 3592 CE / 12-17-21

It is the morning of the party's departure from Rushton, and they spend some time saying goodbyes to the locals they have befriended, such as Llewlyn Havok, Winter, and Cassandra Wren, before heading to the keelboat known as the Starling which will take them to the city of Liem, as they pursue their former employer, the notorious occultist Baron Haver Lowell IV. As they prepare to board the ship, they are joined by the fisherman Otis Remsatter, whom Esp had invited to join them on their adventure. At the end of the pier, they find the ship's captain, Winnifred Pike, cousin of the Watcher Coryston Pike, arguing with the harbormaster about some cargo that was loaded incorrectly. Esp uses her diplomatic skills to encourage Otis to smooth things over in order to facilitate their leaving. They also meet the first mate, Rough Dog, who gives them the rules of the ship. As they settle in for what will be more than a month aboard the riverboat, the party begins their research into the materials they recovered from Baron Lowell's estate, learning much about the Dreamlands, an aspect of the Dimension of Dreams in which Baron Lowell made frequent excursions in his quest to discover the secrets of the Necronomicon and the lost city of Nezarene.
