Aleria Campaign / Doomsday Dawn / When the Stars Go Dark pt. 3/ Bris the 30th, 3592 CE 3/3/19

Having rested in Jean White's extra-dimensional mansion, Gray Vengeance returns to the pit at the center of the Veinstone Plaza, deducing that what they seek more then likely lies below. Coming up with various strategies for reaching the bottom of it safely, they eventually discover that the strange physics of this pocket dimension allow one to reach the bottom merely by falling through reverse space. At the bottom of the shaft, they find themselves in a large obsidian room decorated with star-like points of light. The darkness of the room hides its guardian, another elder creature, a large mass of slime, eyes and mouths, which slowly drives the party mad with its otherworldly gibbering as it attempts to engulf them in its mire. The party is once again able to band together to destroy the creature in the face of its madness, and are now faced with three potential exits from this room before striking out to further explore Lochmar's complex.
