Aleria Campaign / Doomsday Dawn / The Heroes of Underhill pt. 3 / 3589 CE (5/7/19)

The Gatekeepers are in a pitched battle with a glabrezu demon and a hezrou demon, the last of the current wave of demons assaulting the temple of Underhill. The have been attracted to the strong magics released as the agents of the Eon Eye known as Gray Vengeance attempt to transcribe the White Axiom deep within the caverns underneath the temple. The demons have used mind effects to corrupt the wills of Talia and Vercingetorix, making them an equal threat to their allies, though luckily the focus of their aggression remains their demon attackers. Both will fall under the demons attacks, but rise again through sheer heroic will. Eventually, thanks to the many spells that Herman is slinging from his spot on the ceiling, the hezrou demon is dispatched, and feeling outnumbered, the glabrezu demon escapes to the grounds outside the temple, where he rallies by calling forward a squad of babau demon assassins. Meanwhile, an omox demon has snuck into the temple to assault Talia. Through their combined efforts, the Gatekeepers are able to dispatch two of the babau attackers, but still find themselves in the thick of combat with the remainder of the force.
