Court of the Darkened Moon
The Court of the Darkened Moon, often shortened to the "Dark Moon Court", is the darker counterpart to the grandiose Court of the Shining Sun, the two courts the largest kingdoms within Annwfn. It is currently headed by the mysterious but deeply loved Ellis'fiyr the Lightless and their right hand, Marne of the Brighthills.
Since Ellis'fiyr's rise to power, the Dark Moon Court has prospered in carefully-held peace with the Shining Sun Court. Historically, the Dark Moon Court has allied closely with the Courts of the Grand Hunt, but struggles with keeping the wyldfae at bay.

Structure
Monarch : the grand, unquestioned ruler of the Court, usually titled "king" or "queen". They act as the chief political negotiator within the kingdom and outside of it.
Regent : second in command to the monarch, a regent acts as the head of the Court when the monarch is unable to. They are the closest advisor and confidante to the monarch, and sending a regent to do political work outside of the court is viewed as a high honor. The regent, like the monarch, focuses on balancing all aspects of ruling.
Seneschal : another advisor to the monarch, the seneschal works to ensure the monarch's eggs are all placed in the proper baskets. They tend to focus on the social and/or political aspects of ruling, often acting as politicians and pollsters for the monarch.
High Commander : chief military advisor to the monarch, the high commander is one of the most accomplished warriors in the Court. The high commander more often than not marches with their army in times of war.
Inner Council : made up of the regent, seneschal, high commander, and a handful of other highly trusted advisors; the inner council is meant to advise and inform the monarch on matters of politics, war, public opinion, etc.
Shield Ravens : the elite military force of the Court of the Darkened Moon, the Shield Ravens work directly under the high commander, who once fought within its ranks. The Shield Ravens tend to favor faster, roguish warriors over heavily armored infantry, however more armored forces do exist within them.
Greater Fae Courts : comprising the leaders of the Court's houses of import, the greater fae courts act as a conglomerate noble house. They work with the lesser fae courts to provide the people of the Court with goods and appropriate representation.
Lesser Fae Courts : the lower fae courts are the largest part of the Court, made up of a myriad of elected individuals from various settlements within the Court. Working with the greater fae courts, they ensure the people of the Court are properly fed and represented.
