Areal Steam Carriage company

Airship builder

The Areal Steam Carriage company is, as the name suggests, a manufacturer of airships. The largest maker of airships in the Glorious Kingdom of Eglen even! Which is not a surprise, as they make the very best airships!

Deals with the guilds

The Areal Steam Carriage company has made very favourable agreements with the guilds, such as the; Guild of Boiler makers and Engine building Guild, that they will only work for the company, in the field of airships manufacturing. And as the guilds have a near monopoly in their respective fields, this keeps the company firmly at the top!

History

The Areal Steam Carriage company has docks and hangars all over our Glorious Kingdom, but the biggest are located near Babington Castle Aerodrome. Where also their main suppliers have their factories.

The main-office of the company is in Ivoryhall as any respectable company desires, on the street leading up to the royal castle. The office, which they have taken over from the now bankrupt Steam Carriage Company, of which they once were a subsidiary.

The Steam Carriage Company (Note: Capital C on the Company, as where the Areal Steam Carriage company uses a lower-case c), didn't went bankrupt due to a low market for steam vehicles, nor for making bad vehicles. No, their Financial Director-General upset Nushal Ïlamya the Bastard, King of Eglen, after which their license was suspended, and the guilds refused to work with them.

Employement and Production

The Areal Steam Carriage company directly employes about five-thousand people, and can produce up to two-hunderd airships a year, depending on sizes. (Not counting Odonat's which are not airships.)

Financial Status

The company has reported profits every year.

Airships!   I don't know why, but I love the Guild of Boiler Makers.

It is my intention to have many (weirdly specific) guilds in this world!
