The Thorn Knights
These are Utramya's Angelic forces, Utramya's god-blooded extremists. They take the Beggar Knights quests to a whole new level being given impossible tasks. Individually they are the most powerful of the knight orders. there are 72 in total, with 18 lesser or missing knights. Thorn Knights are blessed with a Petal of Utramya and are granted rebirth, and biologocal immortality along with divine powers. Every Thorn Knight is a Bruakan. There are only female bruakan left as males commonly go mad hungry for power as their own blood gives them burning rage and they do not have wombs to give birth so Utramya turned them all female. When a Bruakan dies, commonly one of the other Bruakan give birth to the deceased, depending on if they are a true Thorn knight they will quickly regrow and have all their previous memories and skills.
Thorn Knights all wield a star weapon granted to them by making a pact bond with a wolf god. Each star weapon is unique and reflects power from the star its conencted to.
Structure
Thorn knights of Utramya have different factions amoung themselves like Military branches. Each branch follow their own rules thats left to the descretion of the Branch Leader, who commonly runs it whatever way She sees fit. These branches do not operate as a cohesive unit normally, A thorn knights main duty is to defend the Tower but they are also quested with an impossible task so they must deal with business outside the Petal Tower at times. Only 2 Thorn knights have completed their impossible task and they are the two of the three deities of Utramya.
The only general authority to call forth a combined front from the branches would be that of an edict from the 3 deities or Utramya herself. On a regular bases, Thorn knights are so spread out it is not uncommon for Thorn Knights to not see each other as a whole group for long periods of time. Except for cases involving a threat the the whole petal tower. Unless specifically ordered by Utramya, Branch leaders can choose whether or not to involve themselves and their branch in the situation's of the Petal Tower(At their own risk).
Each Deitiy holds leadership over 3 out of 9 branches that make up the Thorn knight order. There are 18 ranks for the greatest of the thorn knights and they are the leaders of their branches, The ranks go from highest to lowest in terms of strength. Abilities are the only thing used to determine one's rank. Each Branch leader has an officer or captain, There are 9 Branch leaders and 9 branch captains. Each Branch contains 8 Thorn Knights. Each Branch has their own specialty in what they focus on and have uniforms that relate to their branch.
