Technology Judging Short List
A Cutting Edge Technology Expected to Change the Future
Liquids bubbled and steamed in twisted glass tubes and flasks. Heat from arcane lamps warmed various brews and metals laid out in a maze that stretched across the laboratory. A light on the wall flashed red. The first three floorboards creaked as first the wizard, Antum, stepped off the teleportation stone. After him, his two apprentices, Arie and Wil, and then the mayor, Lavani, appeared. After the garden and the magic shop, this was one of the best stops in town, at least from the Mayor's point of view.
Arie, the apprentice, chirped, "Wil didn't you check Mr Fisk's food?"
Wil grunted in frustration, "It is supposed to automatically fill. What is wrong with that technology. Should have just used magic."
Lavani giggled, and tweaked a valve on one of the flasks to see a puff of vapor pop like a mini fireworks display. "This is new. Antum, tell me about this setup! What are we trying to do? I'll review it and add to my Reading List for everyone to see."
