Jinesh
Encyclopedia Nexus: Jinesh
jinesh - noun - "high covering"
The term jinesh is used for the cowl, a collective term for the long folds of flesh around the head and neck of an angara, extending down along their spine and onto their chest. This region includes the taon organ for the generation of bioelectricity, wavalo (gills) for breathing underwater, and giilri channels for nursing. The outer edges of the long, narrow folds are flexible and slightly mobile, flexing to flare open wider or pin tightly over the openings. The shape and size of the jinesh is one indication of an angara's ancestral lineage - the closest equivalent to race-like differences in angara. This morphological difference does not indicate sex of the individual, as was initially assumed. Several areas of the jinesh are also erogenous zones, where sensitivity is heightened by touch, water, and sex.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
