True Monarch

When the Mortal deities finally died they gave the most powerful leaders a large part of thier essance - thier very being - to those leaders. These leaders then became the true Kings and Queens of the provinces from which they hail from, with the dragons essance they were granted wisdom beyond thier years, god like strenth, and increased life (often living over 300 years old). This gift was not a one off however: every child with the blood of the first monarch gains those abilities and those bloodlines still continue to this day nearly 4500 years later. Therefore the true Kings, Queens, and all thier heirs are some of the few known Demigods who walk on Andreval.   Every Kingdom has a true Monarch:

Arrell = King Aythel Grantsen XI

Zrakor = Monach Airfel Vorff III

Ecarr = King Doriarn Vanten II

Fehadla = Queen Eorra Ranaye I

Re'Lak = Queen Ambeleth Sallenei IV

Re'Alec = King Zairn Kay'entt XII

Talro'en = Queen Maree Sha'xus I

A'ular = King Yorkfel Arkstein V

  These are the Kings and Queens of Talrak but each serve not only thier people but the Gods and the Gods in turn serve the Spirits. The People are incrediably loyal to their Gods and therfore their Monarch. However they fear the Spirits so they often do anything to avoid upsetting or gaining the ire of the Spirits by serving the Gods faithfully and their Monarch. This is why it is sacrelage to invade another Kingdom as you would be upsetting the Gods , and it is why very few move to other kingdoms permenatly except for travellers.  

'To be a leader whether that be King, Prince, captain or corporal. Means to be first. The first to stand up and ultimatly the first to fall. To defend your beleifs. your people, your family no matter the cost. Is the meaning of all leaders no matter how great.'
